I have written a few times about Peter Hook now. What about his ex New Order band mates? Whilst Hooky may have gone Gillian has returned to the band and this apparently coincides with the band returning to a more electronic based sound after a decade of lad rock and the totally unnecessary release of Lost Sirens. So what is happening while we are waiting for new material?

Last year the band headline Bestival on the Isle of Wight and by all accounts it was an outstanding performance. I have been enjoying some of it on you tube. They also plan to release the recording of the concert, which features both New Order and Joy Division songs, as a CD early next month in aid of the Isle of Wight Youth Trust.
