Scotland has a long customary pattern of producing high quality indiepop and Paisley’s The Muldoons are no exception to that list. Their sound is drenched in history and tradition from Orange Juice to Camera Obscura, from Postcard to Egg Records and beyond. Their second single, Don’t Be Like That, Girl, is a catchy song featuring jangling guitars and trumpets. I like the way it changes pace during the song catching the listener unaware.
