The last time I mentioned The Colleagues was way back in 2013. I am not sure if they have done anything since then but their soundcloud page indicates not. Anyway they are back with this slow paced jangling indiepop track which sounds remarkably similar to not only their material from six years ago but also like bands such as Po!, Fat Tulips and Strawberry Story which given their influences should come as no surprise. The Colleagues – S/T EP

Whilst the UK indiepop scene stagnates once more we have to look further afield for our fix. Bands from The Philippines and Indonesia have been producing high quality indiepop for a few years now ably promoted by the likes of the amazing SEA Indie and the now seemingly defunct Popscene Manila (just go and download all those releases!).
