New York based shoegazers Tara do enjoy referencing the past on their music whilst at the same time bringing it up to date up and making shoegaze available to a new audience – well those not as old as me! Tara – Wander

For their second track New York based Tara wanted to make a danceable track with the same instruments/approach they used on their first single Second Guess. Parts of the Wander remind me of any number of tracks which were all the rage in the indie dance clubs circa 1988-1991 whilst, for those not as old as me!, other parts emphasise the blissful harmonies and ethereal vocals heard on the aforementioned first single.
