Sighs – Fiends EP

I was taken with the Sighs track Feel that came out last summer. It reminded me of a mix of 1980’s indie and dream pop. Just over a year later they carry on in the same vein on the Fiends EP but things go a bit skewriff towards the end… The opener Lost sounds anything but as it heads for the indiepop dance-floors with it’s driving synths, infectious vocals and trumpets whilst Surface Tension will become a fave thanks once more to the trumpets and driving melodies. Holiday Tuneage!
