Strong female vocals soar above the guitars which, depending on your viewpoint, are either influenced by 1981 Glasgow or 1988 Bristol. I Hope That No One Sees Me is the debut album from Swedish indiepop band No Suits In Miami and it’s the sort of stuff I would have died for in my hardcore (!) indiepop days. The music is vibrant whilst singer Michelle’s voice is like another instrument as it weaves in and out of the jangling guitars.
