The Secret History – Age of Victoria

June sees the release of the second album from The Secret History. It’s called Americans Singing In The Dark and will be released on Cloudberry Records. The Spook School

For one reason or another I didn’t listen to that much music (well recent stuff anyway) in 2012 and one band I have been meaning to catch up on was Edinburgh’s The Spook School. Glad I did as I think their tunes are pretty good taking the indiepop template and making it so much better. I came across these demos by the band Flowers whilst wasting sometime on Bandcamp and they are certainly worth the free download. I don’t know anything about the band although they state on their homepage/facebook page that they are signed to Fortuna Pop. There is also a release on Cloudberry Records coming up and that may be my first purchase from that label for a while.
