Latest from news from the band: A new Girl One and the Grease Guns single is up for pre-order from Squirrel Records. It’s a two track 7″ with a bonus three track CD, “Sonic Spume’. The 7” vinyl consists of two tracks, the atmospheric No Longer Spellbound and the playful, Spectrum-pop of The Nightmare Room, whilst the bonus CD includes a reworked electronic-pop version of The Manhattan Love Suicides’ Veronica plus two new tracks Burn My Brains and Minimal Effort. Rémi Parson – Droguerie

London based Rémi Parson might be a name known to some of you as he is a founder member of both Electrophonvintage and The Sunny Street. Droguerie is the first single to be taken from his forthcoming début album La Tristesse. It’s simple minimalistic but incredibly effective synth pop crossing any language barriers with ease. It’s a double a-side affair and will also be available digitally from their bandcamp page and I have to say the synths on Sólido-Líquido are particularity wonderful. Various Artists – Indietracks Compilation 2013

The companion compilation to this years indietracks festival is now out and features a number of bands previously featured on these pages. There are 47 tracks which is one from each band at the festival and the whole thing can be yours for a minimum of a double nugget. You can get it from here. The festival itself takes place on the last weekend of July at the Midland Railway Butterley, Derbyshire, England. There are still tickets available.
