Indiepop legends The Flatmates, albeit with a new line up, release their first single in 23 years on 24th August. Entitled You Held My Heart it’s backed with One Lass Kiss and is available on 7″ via the Archdeacon Of Pop Records. As for that revised line up the band now comprise of original members Martin (guitar) and Rocker (keyboards) as well as newcomers Lisa (vocals), Verity (bass) and Brian (Drums). I Thought It Was Morning is infectious indiepop doused with diy ethos, politics, punk and a bit of reggae.
