So, a week later than planned, here is the mix for February. January started off slow, then wow was there a lot to go through! Indonesian label Shiny Happy Records have had a prolific start to the year and there are contributions from that label alongside efforts from a raft of Indonesian acts. Back to Somerset is a new UK label and if there is an AI for recreating sounds from the C86 era, then this label comes pretty close. Tracks from the label are scattered through the mix.

There are some recommended albums too from the likes of The Just Joans, Lande Hekt, Whitelands and Joyce Manor. If you like what you hear here (eh?) then check those albums out. The Reds, Pinks & Purples, Makthaverskan and European Sun hint at imminent album releases. I love the latter’s TV Personalities impression.
