Pillow Fight hail from Los Angeles and consist of Alice (vocals/guitar), Bre (vocals/bass) and Jorge (drums).

If their Bandcamp page is to be believed Jean Said is only their second single and the first since 2022’s Open Up although I am pretty sure I have heard them somewhere else before but the band name is a popular one so it could be a coincidence.

Anyway enough deviating and let the band and song “talk” for themselves.

Jean Said is a thriving, busy indiepop song that speeds along at a constant paste. Jean said a lot of loving things but Jean has gone after another try and our protagonist is somewhat blue. Maybe if they give this track a spin that should cheer them up. Er on second thoughts maybe not!

A superb track and I hope we don’t have to wait three years for the next one.
