Josh Hwang has released different styles of music under his Castlebeat moniker ranging from dreampop to synthpop and much more! The new single Ivy League nails it’s colours firmly in the post-punk and new wave camp. The song features repetitive but melodic guitar rhythms resplendent with retro synths and a gruff vocal style. It’s catchy, maintaining a fast paced approach throughout the course of the track. It’s certainly worthy of a listen or five!
