Aside from the location of Glasgow on the Bandcamp page, I know absolutely nothing about Milk Aisle Gorbachev nor the reasons behind this, the debut EP consisting of what I presume are four demo recordings.

It opens very Billy Bragg like, especially the vocals, on the opener It’s Not funny But… whilst the incredibly raw sounding punk infused Dick Martians hints at The Television Personalities. The multiple bracketed You’ve Ruined Everything (For Everyone (Forever)) sees Milk Aisle Gorbachev at their most listenable with its fuzzy guitar and catchy words. The final track, An Easy End, is a gentle, acoustic affair. In short, a great collection of Lo-Fi/DIY twee tunes with a punk attitude, which hints at some good things to come. Now where is my Oatly?
