The last time I covered Ferri-Chrome was back in 2020 when I thought they sounded a bit like The Pale Saints. It looks like I have missed an album since then, but I have glad I have caught up because their latest single Another Space Time is sublime.
Another Space Time is a sparkling track where the band fuse twee, indiepop and dreampop together, enhancing those influences rather than copying them tit-for-tat. I can hear shades of Emma’s House for example which the band then use as a foundation to build upon. I am certainly looking forward to the release’s other two tracks when it is out next month. You can order it from Testcard Records.
