Austin based DAIISTAR’s debut single Tracemaker will no doubt remind the listener of an early Oasis on the first listen or two. But did deeper, and you can hear echoes of the likes of The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club or The Jesus and Mary Chain. It’s not a bad choice of a debut single because of that initial comparison, but after listening to a lot more of them on YouTube I can also hear Spacemen Three and the likes of Loop. One to listen out more for.
