Atlanta’s Slo Moon’s blend of early 1980’s 4AD/Creation Records influences and dreampop have entertained me greatly in 2022. New track OTW does not let me down either with it’s ethereal, ghostly and receptive sound which sounds like it should be on the soundtrack to a haunting film.
Instead, and aside from being a single release, you can find it on The Star Sailors recent Shoegaze/dreampop compilation which I am slowly working my way through. There is some good stuff on it too and hopefully I will drop a few words in about it at some point.
