Linköping’ s The Slow Summits release their new single Budge on Too Good To Be True on Friday. It’s part of that label’s 2022/23 Singles Club, The song itself is a fine slab of retro indie pop that fuses the post-punk glee of Orange Juice and The Smiths alongside the mid 1980’s “C86″ sound of The Brilliant Corners. There are plenty of catchy trumpets and strong vocals throughout. It’s possibly their finest moment to date and well worthy of it’s 7” vinyl release.
