UJU hail from Dumaguete in the Philippines. However if I had not read that I would have sworn that they came from Sweden given how this track sounds.
Give it a listen and think Agent Blå or Hater then you will get where I am coming from. It’s a single that confidently rises high whilst the vocals of Leeju Jung are strong and confident leaving their mark long after the song has finished.
According to their Bandcamp page they are a four piece dream-pop/indie-rock band but for this single is states that they are are currently Kenanaiah Jo and Leeju Jung. It doesn’t take much for me to get confused but regardless check out their older songs as they are very pleasing.
