I don’t normally cut & paste bandcamp descriptions for releases but English Summer describe this one perfectly.
“As You Walked Away is a compilation of demos recorded between August 2020 to July 2021. Including previously released material such as the gloomy I Dream and The Wake inspired single A New Colour for You, as well as tracks that were deemed lost or unlikely to be re-recorded and released officially (Chance and Coffee & Cigarettes), as once said; “show us your failures”
Are these failures? I Dream and A New Colour for You certainly are not and if you have not grabbed them before do so now. Whilst the other tracks are pretty raw sounding (well they are demos) the closing track Mourning Colours is a lovely instrumental piece to the boot. A big shout out to the Factory cassette box inspired cover art too!
