Geneva Drive are a UK based outfit. They describe their music as “Lo-Fi Dream Pop/Shoegaze made in a bedroom” and that is an apt description.
First Light, recorded on an ancient four track, is a soothing guitar lead track with wistful vocals whilst flipside Solar Painting is a calming, experimental instrumental almost bordering on white noise.
There is another track on Soundcloud titled Ride Out The Night that reminds me of a Spacemen Three and is an effective mix of ambient and drone. It’s interesting to say the least and I cannot wait to hear some more.
