This week’s pack of three focuses on three current & imminent releases from Shelflife Records.
Love Dance – All The Time
I haven’t heard anything from Love Dance in an age and then I heard this and I thought it was a completely different band. Long gone is the jangling indie pop which is now replaced by pulsating synth pop beats. Hell it even sounds like Bizarre Love Triangle towards the end. Excellent.
Available digitally from here.

The Luxembourg Signal – Laura Palmer
More shimmering dreampop loveliness from The Luxembourg Signal who deliver the goods once more. Musically the band are rooted in the 1980’s (C86 and Shoegaze) which is no surprise given their links with Sarah Records and Shinkansen Recordings. Their C86 credentials are cemented further by way of their cover of The Close Lobsters track Let’s Make Some Plans on the flipside. Essential listening.
Pre-Order the 7″ from here.

Star Tropics – Another Sunny Day
Another Sunny Day is the first single to be taken from the soon to be released Lost World LP. It’s quintessentially a jangling dreampop track that harks back to days gone by. In fact the whole thing just shouts pop, pop, pop at you! That album should be a treat.
Pre-order the album here. It’s also being jointly released by Japanese label Fastcuts Records
