These are the first released recordings by Amy Linton, she of Henry’s Dress and The Aislers Set, since the latter’s farewell in 2003.
On these recordings she is joined by Stewart Anderson (Boyracer). Unsurprisingly the two new tracks here, Looking For A Stranger On The Shore and Pigeons (download version only), sound like a fusion of both bands but given the musical history on show here that is hardly a bad thing. The single also features a mellow unreleased track, Big Ocean, Linton recorded as The Aislers set in 2008. Welcome back!
