Dora Maar hail from Edinburgh but you can hear echoes of Glasgow’s Postcard Records in their music whether it’s Josef K or The Go-Betweens. Their jangle pop may be reminiscent of bands who appeared on C86 but I suggest that it’s C81 where they would have the snugger fit. Check out Jessica Says at least – it’s simply sublime
