Bruising – I Don’t Mind

There have been a couple of great singles on the Beech Coma label already this year (Holy Now & Posture) and as 2016 enters its last month and a half here is another in the shape of I Don’t Mind by Leeds band Bruising. Their form of indie rock reminds me of the Elephant Six bands and in particular Dressy Bessy in their rockier moments. Holy Now – Wake Up

Wake Up is the forthcoming single from Sweden’s Holy Now and it’s time for one of those jaw dropping moments. The dark lyrics jostle with soaring, jangling guitars, pounding percussion and ethereal female vocals. It’s immense to these ears. Wake Up is taken from the band’s Sorry I messed up cassette (which you can get here). It’s also full of excellent tracks including the desolate Please Love Me which will be the singles flip side.
