Every so often I come across a track that develops into a fixation requiring constant plays. Beyond by the London based These Sleeping Hands is one of those tracks. It’s a hypnotic shoegazing track, interwoven with so many textures and pattern bursts that the song actually glistens. The play-out could (should?) have lasted for an hour and I would not have been bored.

I picked up Only When I Sleep which is the album Beyond is taken from. Don’t ask me what the rest of the album sounds like becau….. Ah! I think you will get the gist why.
