I mentioned Amelia & The Housewives last month before they had even released their debut single and now that single is out it’s time to mention them again.

Maybe is a very catchy and addictive thanks in no small part to the attention grabbing vocals. That voice, and musically too, really remind me of someone but these ageing brain cells cannot recall who but suffice to say it’s a great indiepop track indeed. Flip side Shattered features more of the same, and whilst there is not much variety sound wise, the stories told in the lyrics really differentiate the two songs. A cracking debut!
