German indiepoppers Brideshead are back after ten years away. The band, who are celebrating their 30th anniversary resplendent with a new drummer, have announced the release of a new album. Titled You Are The Light it’s their fourth album and will be released on May 23 2025 via Shelflife Records.

The first single from the album Satelite has just been released and it supplies the words that gives the album it’s name. It’s contains all those elements that are needed to create a classic sounding jangling indiepop track. It doesn’t disappoint in that respect especially with the guitars playing out which could have been so much longer given the glorious sound it makes.
