I don’t know much about Dance The Ghost aside from the fact they are based in Birmingham. However I do know that latest single Only In The Sun is one of the finest slices of synth driven post-punk you are likely to hear this month and most probably this year too. It echoes to the sounds of early Factory Records acts like Red Turns To or New Order impersonators like Tony Martin. Flip side Oh Anna reminds me of the synth pop of my youth that made up a lot of my listening and the charts too. But it’s the a-side you will come back to. Marvellous.
