San Jose based Star 99 release their new album Gaman via Lauren Records on March 07 2025. The opening track Kill has just been made available as the first single and/or taster track. The fuzziness of their earlier releases gives way to a, dare I say it, mature sound.
However Kill packs a punch thanks to it’s 1980’s infused power pop sound resplendent with standout female vocals and pounding percussion that easily catch the attention of my, and I am sure your, ears too.
