Dust hail from Ngawi, East Java comprising of Derry Cahyo Nugroho (vocal/guitar), Syahrizal Ramadhan (Guitar), Delta Eka Wardana V (Bass) and Hafizh Husaint (Drums). Their debut EP I hate Dust has just been released and it comprises of lovely, yet melancholic, sounds.

Opener Gazing is as close as dreampop gets to ambient thanks to it’s ethereal sounds whilst Hope and Numb jangle their way into the listeners consciousness thanks to the chiming guitars and inconspicuous vocal style.

Summertime has a spiritual feel whilst Rizal’s Song is somewhat dynamic when compared to to the rest of the EP with a sound reminiscent of music found on 4AD in the mid nineteen eighties. All in all a gentle and beautiful listen.
