I Hate Summer hail from Bandung, Indonesia and this double sided digital upload seems to be their debut single. And it ain’t a bad way to start with these two noisy songs. Drawing on influences from shoegaze, dreampop and the fuzzier side of indiepop both songs here are a delight despite the full on melancholy evidenced in the words.
If their miserabilism extends to other seasons I cannot wait to hear more. For now Don’t Mind/Nothing is available on a pay what you want basis from here.
