The third Heavenly LP will be re-released by Skep Wax Records on Friday 2nd February 2024. The re-release of The Decline and Fall of Heavenly will include all five tracks from the Atta Girl and P.U.N.K Girl 7” singles.
Those aforementioned singles have earned Heavenly a whole new generation of fans. Tiktoks based on P.U.N.K Girl have been liked by millions of teenagers and that song alone has accumulated over 7m Spotify streams.
The album was originally released in 1994 mixing indiepop melodies with the politics of riot grrrl. The label writes that “it’s like being punched and kissed at the same time.”
Skep Wax Records are also releasing a special version of the P.U.N.K. Girl single. It will be released on 8 December 2023 on a CD (with Atta Girl), in a bundle with a T-shirt, postcards and a button badge. Those can be ordered from the label in either black or white packages.
The fourth and final Heavenly album Operation Heavenly will be re-released on vinyl later in 2024.
