The Rosebuds Riot – Poppy Crappy Band

Another day and another release on Chaotic Pop Records. Poppy Crappy Band by The Rosebuds Riot starts off (and maintains it so) in a shambling fuzzy pop way in the same style as another band who had Rose in their name circa Stoke On Trent, 1987.

The fuzziness continues as the subject of the lyric writer’s ire gets it right in the neck. “A pop sensation……for all to see, I’m ready to embrace the corporate role” he sings. Another fine, DIY noise pop single laced with rebellion from this increasingly relevant Indonesian label!
