True is the third single to be taken from the forthcoming album Lines that is due to be released on September 08 2023. I was surprised how rocky the track started, which reminded me of The Jesus and Mary Chain’s rolling guitar sound post Psychocandy. The song then diverts into the realms of fuzzy alt-rock complete with the ethereal female vocals, that tell the story of unfulfilled dreams, found on the two preceding singles.
The release is a collaborative one between Shelflife Records (US), Spinout Nuggets (UK) and Fastcut Records (JP). Remember to support your local label!
