Slowly discarding their 1990s influences, London’s Bleach lab return with their new single. It’s the sound of a band bringing their influences and subsequent interpretations up to date in order to stamp their own authority/identity on their music. The result is that the alt-rock/dreampop hybrid Indigo could well be their best moment to date. The vocals of Jenna Kyle sound so much more mature and assured as the words deal with complicated factors surrounding a relationship, whilst the reflective guitars radiate melodies in tandem.
