Nantes based An Ocean Of Embers originally released Reflections Of The Hologram back in December 2019. All versions of that single have now been removed from Bandcamp and replaced by this new version. However if you use Qobuz you can still hear it here in order to compare.
In comparison, this new version is much more polished. Normally I find that detracts from the original but here it sounds much more luscious and vibrant over the course of it’s seven minutes plus. It’s dreamy and ethereal with the female vocals gliding along, pulling in the listener at will. The strings that play the song out are simply divine. Simply put, that’s a recommendation!
