San Francisco’s Aluminum, who were founded by members of Wild Moth, are releasing their debut EP on October 07 2022. Titled the Windowpane EP it features six track including the title track that has just been released as a lead single. Whilst there are some shoegazing undertones there are also plenty of elements taken from done and krautrock. This gives the song a motoring sound resplendent with effective monotone vocals. If you are a fan of Stereolab or what Pale Blue Eyes or Dummy are currently doing then give this lot a listen.
The Windowpane EP is split release between Dandy Boy Records, where it will be available on vinyl, or on cassette via Discontinuous Innovation Inc. or pre-order digitally from the band.
