This weeks pack of three features three brand new singles hot off the press.
Boy With Apple – Strawberry Boy
A fruity new single from the Swedish band. It features plenty of swirling guitars and female vocals to keep even the most miserable sod happy. There are some nice post-punk drum beats too which sound like a very early Cocteau Twins and the joint vocals toward the end are very catchy indeed. Very good!
Fjord Mustang – Good Times
Good Times is the fourth single to be taken from the forthcoming album Solitaire. It’s a gentle, melancholic affair and the song is about discovering the negative side of someone.
Dream Suicides – It’s Better Not To Say Anything
Ethereal tinged and blissful dreampop/shoegaze from California’s new to me Dream Suicides who have been going for a while now. The vocals linger in your head as the guitars echo. It’s backed with the just as good Missing Soul.
